Where I've Been

4963658sun.gif    I was raised in Philadelphia, PA.  However, I have traveled extensively throughout the USA.  My most exciting adventure was para sailing in Acapulco, Mexico.

My Life as an Educator

I taught in the Philadelphia School District for six years as a Special Education Teacher.  My favorite subjects are English Language Arts and American History.  Although I have not experienced using a WebQuest, I incorporate the use of computers in my classroom.  My best lessons derived from students working in pairs, using the computers as a reference source, and using the computers as word processors to complete reports, write poems, and create slide shows for end of the year presentations.

When I'm Not Working...

49718342june2.gif  During the summer vacation, I participate in professional development classes, work out at the YMCA, and jog.  I enjoy sewing.  I love watching documentaries, plays, mysteries, Korean soap operas, musicals, and comedies on the Public Broadcasting System Network and MIND TV, Channels 12 and 35, respectively.  I read short stories and poems.  I enjoy gardening.  My family and I spend lots of time together traveling throughout the USA, visiting each other, having cookouts, celebrating birthdays, visiting cultural sites, such as the museums, historical centers, and the library.  I am active in my community and church.  However, when I unwind I visit restaurants, sample their cuisines with my family and co-workers. Later, I slide onto the dance floor and do the Electric Slide.
