This webquest is designed for 11th grade students who are in an inclusionary classroom setting.

Adaptations can be made by decreasing or increasing the number of sites the students can access to research information pertaining to the topics.

The students should be able to work in cooperative groups and should have acquired skills to use graphic organizers to demonstrate their understanding of a topic.  The students should also have acquired research skills to take notes, to cite sources, and to write a persuasive essay.

The Learners are expected to analyze information and synthesize information regarding World War II and make an inference and group judgment regarding whether the United States can promote peace at home and in the world.
